Delete a backup plan
Deletes the policy. Existing recovery points are KEPT until they age out of their retention window — deleting the schedule is not a request to destroy the backups it already took, and a user who deletes a plan by mistake would otherwise lose every recovery point with it. The points remain listable and restorable under the volumes they protect. Validation: unknown plan → 404. RBAC: owner|admin|contributor. Async & state: Returns 202 with an Operation. A plan with a run in flight goes DELETING and is removed once that run settles, so nothing is left half-taken on the provider. Errors: 401; 403; 404; 412 on a stale If-Match; 500. Idempotency/Concurrency: Idempotency-Key is optional (recommended); If-Match required.
